Switching

Moving from IXACT Contact to OneHive Mail

  1. Export your contacts from IXACT Contact to a CSV file.
  2. Leave out anyone who has unsubscribed or whose address bounces. Importing into OneHive Mail means confirming that everyone in the file agreed to hear from you, so they shouldn’t be in it. Keep your export of them for your records.
  3. Import the file under Contacts → Import. Match the columns, including any groups or tags, and record how your contacts agreed to hear from you.
  4. Add your branding once, then rebuild your main segments and turn your keep-in-touch drips into automations.
  5. Pick a design for your first newsletter, send yourself a test, and send.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is OneHive Mail a good IXACT Contact alternative for Canadian agents?
If you want to write your own emails from ready-made real estate designs, yes. OneHive Mail has fixed prices in Canadian dollars, starting at $35 CAD a month, and records each contact’s consent using CASL’s categories. Does OneHive Mail write my newsletter for me?
