Switching

Moving from Follow Up Boss to OneHive Mail

  1. Export your contacts from Follow Up Boss to a CSV file.
  2. Leave out anyone who has unsubscribed or whose address bounces. Importing into OneHive Mail means confirming that everyone in the file agreed to hear from you, so they shouldn’t be in it. Keep your export of them for your records.
  3. Import the file under Contacts → Import. Match the columns, including tags and stages, and record how your contacts agreed to hear from you.
  4. Add your branding once, then set up your pipeline stages, segments and any email sequences you ran as Action Plans.
  5. Pick a design for your first campaign, send yourself a test, and send.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is OneHive Mail cheaper than Follow Up Boss?
For one agent, OneHive Mail starts at $25 USD a month for up to 1,000 active contacts, while Follow Up Boss Grow is $69 per user a month on monthly billing. OneHive Mail includes 3 users; Follow Up Boss doesn’t price by contacts, so a very large database can change the comparison.
Can OneHive Mail route leads like Follow Up Boss?
No. OneHive Mail lets you assign each contact to a team member and move people through a pipeline, but it doesn’t route incoming leads automatically. If lead routing matters to you, Follow Up Boss is the better fit.
Does OneHive Mail have calling or texting?
No. OneHive Mail is email only. You can log calls, meetings, showings and texts on a contact’s timeline, but you make them from your own phone.
Can I use OneHive Mail alongside Follow Up Boss?
OneHive Mail doesn’t connect to other CRMs, so the two wouldn’t share contacts automatically. You can import a CSV export of your contacts, and update it by importing again.
