Which fits you

Our honest take

This part is our opinion, based on the facts above. The right choice depends on your business.

LionDesk may suit you better if…

  • You already use other Lone Wolf software and want your CRM from the same company.
  • Your MLS or association provides Relationships to its members.
  • You want to move your LionDesk contacts with Lone Wolf’s own migration rather than a file export.
  • You want to send text messages as well as email.

OneHive Mail may suit you better if…

  • You want a published price before you sign up.
  • You want designed campaigns, from 198 ready-made real estate designs with your branding filled in.
  • You want email marketing tools in the same product as your CRM: lists, self-updating segments, A/B tests of subject lines, signup forms, landing pages and campaign reports.
  • You’re in Canada and want fixed prices in Canadian dollars and consent records that follow CASL’s categories.

Switching

Moving from LionDesk to OneHive Mail

  1. Export your contacts from LionDesk to a CSV file.
  2. Leave out anyone who has unsubscribed or whose address bounces. Importing into OneHive Mail means confirming that everyone in the file agreed to hear from you, so they shouldn’t be in it. Keep your export of them for your records.
  3. Import the file under Contacts → Import. Match the columns, including tags, and record how your contacts agreed to hear from you.
  4. Add your branding once, then set up your pipeline stages, segments and any drip campaigns as automations.
  5. Pick a design for your first campaign, send yourself a test, and send.
