OneHive Mail vs Brevo for real estate agents

Brevo is a broad marketing and sales platform for businesses of every kind, with email, SMS and WhatsApp, a separate sales CRM, and a free plan. OneHive Mail is narrower: email marketing and a real estate CRM in one product, priced by active contacts. Here’s how they compare for a realtor or a small team.

Brevo information comes from its own website and help centre, checked on . Prices and features change, so check Brevo’s site before you decide. OneHive Mail isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Brevo.

Is OneHive Mail a good Brevo alternative for realtors?

It depends what you need. Brevo has a free plan, SMS and WhatsApp, and sells its sales CRM as separate packages. OneHive Mail includes a real estate CRM, real estate designs and automations on every plan, priced by active contacts, but it is email only and has no free plan.

Which fits you

Our honest take

This part is our opinion, based on the facts above. The right choice depends on your business.

Brevo may suit you better if…

  • You send only a few emails a day and want to start free: Brevo’s Free plan allows up to 300 a day.
  • You want SMS or WhatsApp campaigns as well as email.
  • You also need transactional email, an API or SMTP sending for a website or app.
  • Your business isn’t real estate, or you need enterprise features such as SSO and a dedicated IP.

OneHive Mail may suit you better if…

  • You want a real estate CRM, with a pipeline, tasks, a calendar and buyer and seller preferences, included rather than sold as a separate sales package.
  • You want 198 ready-made designs written for listings, open houses, market updates and client care.
  • You want automations and every other feature on every plan, rather than features that depend on your tier.
  • You work as a small team and want 3 users on every plan.
  • You’re in Canada and want consent records that follow CASL’s categories.

Switching

Moving from Brevo to OneHive Mail

  1. Export your contacts from Brevo to a CSV file.
  2. Leave out unsubscribed and blocklisted contacts and bounced addresses. Importing into OneHive Mail means confirming that everyone in the file agreed to hear from you, so they shouldn’t be in it. Keep your export of them for your records.
  3. Import the file under Contacts → Import. Match the columns, including lists as tags, and record how your contacts agreed to hear from you.
  4. Add your branding once, then rebuild your main segments and any workflows as automations.
  5. Pick a design for your first campaign, send yourself a test, and send.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is Brevo free for realtors?
Brevo has a free plan with no credit card needed, which allows up to 300 emails a day once your account is approved for sending. Paid plans start at $9 USD a month for 5,000 emails. OneHive Mail has no free plan; it starts at $25 USD ($35 CAD) a month, with a 10-day free trial.
Does Brevo have a real estate CRM?
Brevo sells general-purpose Sales packages with pipelines and sales automation, alongside its marketing plans. We didn’t find a real estate edition. OneHive Mail’s CRM is built in on every plan and has real estate contact types and buyer and seller preferences.
Why is Brevo priced by emails and OneHive Mail by contacts?
Brevo’s plans are sized by how many emails you send each month. OneHive Mail’s plans are sized by your active contacts, and every plan includes ten times that number in sends each month, so a list of 1,000 contacts can get several emails a month on the smallest plan.
Can OneHive Mail send text messages like Brevo?
No. OneHive Mail is email only. If SMS or WhatsApp campaigns matter to you, Brevo offers them.
