Holiday Greetings

Real estate holiday email templates

Holiday emails are a low-pressure way to stay in touch with your whole database. There are general holiday cards and designs for specific occasions through the year, from New Year, Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day to Diwali, Hanukkah and Christmas, each with a note on when to send it. Several are written for Canadian occasions, such as Canada Day, Family Day, Victoria Day and Thanksgiving in October; every word is editable, so they adapt easily for US holidays.

When to send it

  • Send a warm greeting to everyone in your database, with no sales pitch.
  • Recognise the occasions your clients celebrate, such as Lunar New Year, Vaisakhi, Eid, Diwali or Hanukkah.
  • Use long weekends as a friendly reason to say hello, with a local event or two.

Tips for a better response

  • Some dates move every year (Easter, Lunar New Year, Eid and Diwali among them). Check the date before you schedule.
  • Schedule ahead: pick the date, time and timezone, and it sends itself.
  • Keep it about the occasion. Remembrance Day in particular is a note of respect, not a promotion.
